Volunteer Guidelines and Requirements:

At Share Ourselves, we deeply value the time and dedication of our volunteers. Please review the following guidelines to ensure a safe, respectful, and effective volunteer experience:

    • Volunteer Roles
      All volunteer positions are unpaid and serve in a voluntary capacity. Everyone volunteering will need to create an account.

    • Age Requirement
      Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate in our programs.

    • Dress Code
      For safety reasons, closed-toe shoes are required at all times while volunteering.

    • Physical Requirements
      Volunteers should be able to:

      • Lift and carry items weighing 10–15 pounds

      • Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and lifting during their shifts

    • Health & Safety
      The health of our volunteers and the community is a top priority. While COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are recommended, they are not required at this time.

    • Inclusivity & Community Spirit
      Share Ourselves welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds. If you have a heart for service and a desire to make a difference, we invite you to join us in supporting our mission.

Note: Volunteers opportunities are located at 1550 Superior Avenue in our social services building.
