Volunteer Policies and Agreements
When registering, all volunteers must sign an agreement — including a confidentiality policy — for the protection of Fare Share donors and clients.

- Protection of privacy. Volunteers must strive to ensure all information by those they serve remains private and confidential as outlined in the FREEDOM OF INFORMATION AND PROTECTION OF PRIVACY ACT (FIPPA). As an example, volunteers must ensure they meet the requirements of consent, and that all information is safely stored. All Volunteers must sign a confidentiality agreement.
- Maintenance of Dignity. Every effort must be made to maintain the dignity of those served by volunteers.
- Mutual respect. The interaction amongst volunteers and between volunteers and Neighbours must reflect one of mutual respect.
