The application period for our Summer Youth Academy 2026 has closed. Applications for our 2027 Summer Youth Academy will only be accepted starting February 1, 2027. Please check back for updates on the 2027 Summer Youth Academy Program.
Shriners Children’s also provides a Summer Youth Academy Writer’s Workshop. The workshop will give the students and parent/guardian the opportunity to learn how to write an effective essay for applications to competitive medical programs, including this opportunity to apply to the SYA. This workshop will be held sometime between January-March, 2027. Please feel free to visit the website in late 2026 for details.
