Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us. To become a volunteer you must:

  1. Be 16 years of age and older
  2. Be interviewed  
  3. Agree to an SPVM criminal record check and/or an attestation of criminal record

In becoming a volunteer you agree to: 

  • Abide by the policies and procedures of the organization
  • Attend scheduled orientation and training sessions, where applicable
  • Notify the appropriate person if unable to volunteer
  • Hold as confidential any private information obtained directly or indirectly concerning our organizations and users/resident/patients
  • Report to supervisory staff any incidents and/or accidents during your volunteer activity 

We agree to: 

  • Provide you with a choice of assignments, where possible
  • Provide orientation, training, supervision, and guidance to you
