The Whisker Society believes in force and fear free handling techniques and it is the expectation that everyone will use these same methods when interacting with our adoptable cats. Training on such practices will be provided.
We ask volunteers to make a minimum of a 3-month commitment to volunteering.
Cat Care and Lounge Ambassador volunteers are asked to make one same day and time commitment to volunteering on a weekly basis to ensure our adoptable cats are best cared for. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for additional shifts above and beyond their schedule.
