Volunteer Keeper Application Materials

Our Volunteer Keeper positions are available to those pursing a college or university degree, or have graduated within the past 2 years.

There is a field for you to upload your letter of interest and resume. If you are unable to upload these documents, you can email them to volunteer@toledozoo.org.

These positions volunteer alongside keepers and participate in several responsibilities and tasks throughout the day. Students should expect to volunteer in all weather conditions, and with physically demanding tasks at times. In accordance with our animal wellbeing and saftey policies, staff limit their physical contact with animals. As such, students will not have direct physical contact with animals as part of their standard responsibilities.
