CHoB Volunteer submission policy
We are committed to providing the best possible care to our clients. Members of our team - both staff and volunteers must meet requirements appropriate to the role they will perform. All applications are treated equally and assessed according to the selection criteria requirements of each role. In addition all successful applicants must meet the mandatory requirements noted below and model the CHoB values of Compassion through kindness, respect & dignity.
You will be asked to enter a user name and e-mail address and accept this policy to get an ID for "My Impact" which is the secure database that your details will be stored. My Impact is the tool that you will use as a volunteer.
Please review the following mandatory requirements before applying
To be eligible to Volunteer at CHoB, all volunteers must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Undergo a National Volunteer Police Check (paid for by CHoB).
- Complete an Working with Children Check, (if deemed necessary for your role).
- Commit to a minimum of twelve months service.
- Complete relevant orientation and training.
- Attend ongoing information and education sessions
- Sign and agree to our Confidentiality Agreement
- Keep us updated with any changes in availability or contact details
- Keep us updated if a change in circumstances may impact your ability to perform your volunteer role.
