Volunteer Policy and Agreement
The Museum of Life and Science is a safe and inclusive learning environment for visitors of all ages. Therefore, volunteering at the Museum of Life and Science is contingent on passing a background check for the safety of our animals, guests, staff, and other volunteers.
Most volunteer opportunities require participants to be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 and wish to volunteer, a parent or guardian must complete the application with you. Only select volunteer opportunities will be available to those under 18.
All new volunteers must complete Volunteer Orientation at the Museum of Life and Science. Volunteer Orientations are held at 2pm on the third Friday of every month. After your application is accepted, you will be invited to register for Volunteer Orientation. If you are under the age of 18 a parent/guardian must accompany you to orientation. It is here that you will learn about Museum policies and the different volunteer opportunities we have to offer!
