Heritage Park's Volunteer Resources Policies and Procedures
All volunteer applicants 18+ must complete a Police Check provided by Heritage Park.
The purpose of Heritage Park’s volunteer program is to build a diverse, enriched team to provide great memories for our guests, develop and deliver programming and to support the Park’s daily operations. Volunteers bring their expertise, eagerness to share and learn; offering often decades of experience. Volunteers and employees frequently work side by side, supporting and mentoring one another.
As such, the Park shall provide the volunteers with equal regard and consideration as it does its employees in respect to recruitment, selection, orientation, training, roles, supervision, and appreciation. All staff are encouraged to assist in the creation of meaningful and productive roles in which volunteers might serve and to assist in the recruitment of volunteers from the community.
