Volunteer Policies and Agreements
In signing this application, I hereby give Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services authority to contact the persons named as references on the Volunteer Reference Check forms submitted by me, to ascertain my suitability as a volunteer.
Sunbeam is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information collected on volunteers. Any personal information collected by Sunbeam on a volunteer, e.g., name, address, phone number, etc., will be kept in the strictest of confidence. Such information will be used to assess an applicant’s suitability to act as a volunteer, to contact a volunteer re: volunteer assignments, and to distribute information of interest to volunteers regarding Sunbeam and its activities, or regarding volunteerism in general. Information may be released within Sunbeam to introduce a volunteer to their assignment but will not be released, without the volunteer’s express consent to any other agency or authority, except where required by law.
