This is the Adult (non-student) Volunteer Application.

- I understand that I must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer at KHSC.
- I understand that not all applicants are accepted into the volunteer program.
- I understand that KHSC requests my date of birth for statistical purposes only and that it will not be used to assess my suitability for a volunteer role.
- I understand that KHSC uses a third-party company to complete reference checks.
- I understand that, as part of the onboarding process, KHSC requires submission of a criminal reference check with the vulnerable sector search (If 18 year of age or older). Additional details are provided at the Volunteer Information Session.
- I understand that, as part of the onboarding process, KHSC requires submission of a negative 2-step Tuberculosis (TB) test proof of required immunizations; and that I will be provided with a form to be completed by a health care provider.
- I understand that I am responsible for the costs associated with completing these required documents and that I will be informed of the reimbursement process and eligibility.
- I understand that if I don’t attend a KHSC Volunteer Information Session within two (2) months of submitting my application, that my application will be removed from the database.
