Volunteer Agreement
As a Central Oregon Locavore Volunteer, I agree to:
- Support the philosophy of Locavore and always act in the best interests of Locavore
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times (including appropriate clothing, hygiene, etc.) while volunteering for Locavore
- Maintain a cheerful and cooperative attitude at all times
- Abide by safety and risk management requirements and refrain from drug and alcohol use while volunteering
- I agree to contact the volunteer coordinator immediately if I am not available to arrive as scheduled
- Follow requirements for recording my volunteer hours (at Locavore’s market and in the field)
- Use a registered and insured vehicle when driving for Locavore
- Raise any concerns with the Volunteer Coordinator or Executive Director
As a Volunteer, you can expect Locavore to:
- Respect your time and talents
- Maintain professionalism in communications and interactions
- Maintain a cheerful and cooperative attitude at all times
- Provide a point of contact:
- POC will be immediately responsive during scheduled volunteer activities
- POC will respond within one business day outside of scheduled volunteer activities
- Provide a safe working environment and be responsive to safety concerns
- Inform you in a timely manner of changes to volunteer activities for which you are scheduled
- Provide you with a 10% Locavore discount coupon for each shift of 2 hours or longer that you volunteer
