We are currently not accepting any in shelter applications as I will be unable to run orientations in the month of July due to our Ultimate Garage Sale. You are more than welcome to assist us at our Ultimate Garage Sale in July if you have some time to spare and would like to get started sooner. This is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we need as many hands as we can get. The sale location is at St. Joseph High School Fieldhouse: 110, 2700 67 Street, Red Deer, AB T4P 1C2. Whether you have experience or not we have a role to suit everyone’s needs and wants. You can also bring your friends/family with you!
📦 Donation Days & Final Prep – July 3rd to 22nd
St. Joseph High School
9:00am – 5:00pm daily (come anytime)
No shifts required. Just show up, sign a waiver, and jump in! On-site instruction provided.
help with donation drop-offs, sorting, cleaning, pricing, and organizing items into categories like furniture, jewelry, books, household goods, etc.
🎉 VIP Night (Servus Credit Union) – Thursday, July 23rd
St. Joseph High School
5:00pm – 9:00pm (Volunteer Shift: 4:30pm – 9:30pm)
Roles: Cashier, Cashier Assistant, or Floater (volunteers provided by Servus Credit Union).

Friday, July 24th – Day 1
10:00am – 7:00pm (Shifts: 9:30am–2:30pm / 2:15pm–7:30pm)
Saturday, July 25th – Day 2
10:00am – 6:00pm (Shifts: 9:30am–2:15pm / 2:00pm–6:30pm)
Sunday, July 26th – Day 3
10:00am – 3:00pm (Shifts: 9:30am–1:15pm / 1:00pm–3:30pm)

9:00am – 5:00pm (drop-in anytime)
Help us pack up, clean, break down tables, and return items to storage. No assigned jobs, just show up and help wherever you can!
