Organization Policies - Eco-sculpures
Requirements
- Applicants 13 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult leader (teacher, scout leader etc.)
- Applicants 13 -18 years of age must provide a parental/guardian consent form.
Expectations and Responsibilities
- Commit to showing up for assigned positions and shifts unless unforeseen circumstances arise (e.g. illness or emergency)
- Arrive on time.
- Provide advance notice if unable to attend or complete shift (at least 72 hours before)
- Perform duties as directed by supervisory staff.
- Communicate respectfully with participants, staff, and other volunteers.
- Follow policies and procedures as outlined in the planting sessions.
- Maintain the integrity of the event and confidentiality of organization and participants.
- Maintain MyImpactPage account and keep it up to date with current information.
- Use discretion and acquire permissions for photography or video.
- Expect respectful treatment from staff and appropriate training for assigned duties and take responsibility for follow-up if you feel any discomfort in any of these areas.
- Offer feedback and suggestions.
Safety
All volunteers have the responsibility to prevent accidents and injuries by:
- Prevent accidents and injuries to themselves and others by observing and practicing safe procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
- observing safe practices and procedures
- reporting unsafe conditions and practices
- taking an active role in ensuring the safety of themselves, other volunteers, participants and city staff.

As a volunteer, you have obligations under this Policy.
