Start Your Volunteer Journey
At Spectrum Space, our volunteers play a vital role in creating inclusive opportunities for autistic people and their families to connect, grow and thrive. Through our social and community programs, we provide safe, supportive spaces where participants can build friendships, develop confidence, and experience a genuine sense of belonging. By volunteering with us, you become part of a community that is committed to empowerment, inclusion, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Because many of our programs involve working with children and people with disability, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and wellbeing. To help protect everyone in our community, volunteers are required to obtain several important compliance checks before commencing. These safeguards ensure that all participants, families, volunteers, and staff can engage in our programs with confidence and trust.
You will need to hold (or willing to apply for) the following:
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
Our friendly team will guide you through each step of this process once you begin your application.
