Treasure Trove Gift Shop Volunteer Description

Gift Shop volunteers greet and assist our visitors with their Gift Shop purchases and payment transactions. Volunteers help stock the gift store shelves, take simple inventory as requested, and help keep the Gift Shop tidy.

 

Time Commitment

  • Commitment of one year (some flexibility allowed in summer months)
  • One 3 hour shift per week - on a consistent day
  • All our volunteers are encouraged to volunteer at our annual fundraising events

 

Morning shift: 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Afternoon shift: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM

 

Skills/Qualifications

  • Age 18 or older preferred
  • Basic computer skills a plus
  • Basic cashiering skills a plus
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Willingness to commit to PMMC on a weekly basis (some flexibility allowed during summer months)

We are actively onboarding Visit Laguna Beach Volunteers this Summer before we head into our newly remolded center this Fall. 

 

Available shifts: 

Monday: AM and PM

Tuesday: PM

Wednesday: N/A

Thursday: AM and PM

Friday: AM and PM

Saturday: PM

Sunday: AM and PM

 

Visit Laguna Beach Pop-up Shop Volunteer Description

Gift shop volunteers greet and assist visitors, answer questions about PMMC, and provide general information or membership brochures where appropriate. Volunteers will assist with gift shop purchases and cashless payment transactions. Volunteers also restock store shelves, help keep the gift shop tidy and encourage visitors to experience the PMMC yard for themselves. A free designated parking spot is available at the gift shop location. 

 

Time Commitment

One shifts available:

  • 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM 

Skills/Qualifications

  • Responsible 16+ years of age
  • Basic cashiering skills a plus
  • Willingness to commit to our storefront on a weekly basis
