- Confident in reading, writing and speaking English.
- Are creative and patient.
- Have empathy for English language learners and Adult Literacy Learners.
- Are sensitive to different cultures and language backgrounds.
- Are reliable and trustworthy.
Steps to Become a Volunteer:
1. Submit an application.
2. Meet with the Volunteer Manager.
3. Obtain a Police Information Check.
4. Attend an introductory orientation session.
5. Attend several volunteer professional development learning sessions throughout the year.
6. Commitment varies, depending on operational need.
