Volunteer Requirements
EALT is a welcoming and inclusive organization, and we look forward to getting to know you!
Please note a few key details before signing up.
Physical Ability
- With the exception of Conservation Outreach Volunteer opportunities, most of our volunteer work requires a level of physical fitness and ability to walk over uneven terrain.
- If you have limited mobility, we still have options for you! Continue with your application, and follow up with an application to the Conservation Outreach Volunteer program.
Age Requirement
- Our volunteer events are best suited for adults.
- Children or youth are welcome to participate in volunteer events that they can do safely and are suitable for their age and maturity, and accompanied by a responsible adult. Click here to learn more about what events are suitable for different age ranges.
- If a minor wishes to volunteer with EALT:
- Please contact volunteer@ealt.ca, and we will help you create an account.
- A parent or guardian will be required to sign on behalf of the minor.
Other Information
- We have a thorough Health and Safety program, and will provide training for the volunteer tasks you sign up to complete. We will also ask you to sign a Waiver.
- Most of our conservation sites do not have bathrooms. When nature calls, we find privacy behind a tree.
Communications
- Please note future notifications about volunteering will be sent to your email (from message@volunteer2mail.com) and may include MyImpactPage.com as the sender. Please check your junk mail if you are waiting to hear from us.
Account
- If you volunteered for EALT prior to 2024, contact us to have your historical hours imported into your new profile.
