Thank you for your interest in volunteering at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH). Volunteers are a highly valued part of the RMH community and play an important role in enhancing the experience of patients, consumers, carers, visitors, and staff.

Our volunteers come from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences, and identities, reflecting the diverse community we serve. Across the hospital, volunteers provide social, emotional, and practical support, helping create a welcoming and compassionate environment for all.
