Welcome! Understanding Hospice Volunteering

Hospice volunteering is a compassionate service with those near the end of life. We will make every effort to ensure technology is a valuable tool for each volunteer on our team and not a barrier to service. Our volunteers serve in many ways but for those who visit patients an extra layer of service includes recording our visits and submitting Visit Notes electronically or manually in a HIPPA compliant process. Volunteers also complete 5 mandatory trainings each year electronically or manually and attend 4 quarterly volunteer meetings each year.
