MEAA Volunteer Policy

The Museum of East Asian Art has a Volunteer Programme to help with a wide range of activities and events. The Museum defines a volunteer as a person aged 18 years or over who makes a commitment to support the work of the Museum via voluntary, unpaid work. We offer a variety of volunteering opportunities and roles, which are clearly defined in role descriptions, assignments or volunteer placements. Volunteering opportunities support - rather than replace - the work of Museum staff and help the team to offer a high quality experience to visitors. All successful applicants will be required to read the full Volunteer Policy, Guidelines and Programme Agreement.
