Volunteer Application: Before You Begin

This application cannot be saved and must be completed once started. It may take approximately 10-20 minutes to complete the application. Before starting, please have the following information ready:
- Contact information for two (non-relative) references
- Contact information for at least one emergency contact
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be residents of Nova Scotia and have a Nova Scotia address.
- The minimum age to volunteer is 16 years old.*
- References may be provided after the volunteer has completed either 25 volunteer hours or six months of service.
- Volunteer Services uses the Better Impact Volunteer Management System. Applicants must create a MyImpact account before completing a volunteer application.
* Community Health Boards will accept high school students under the age of 16 as volunteers, subject to approval after the standard Community Health Board member applicant interview.
