Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Bayhealth.
Volunteer opportunities are somewhat limited at this time. We especially need volunteers for:
- HIGH-PRIORITY NEED: Emergency Department Entrance desk- Helping patients & visitors checking in. Shifts: 12- 4pm and 4- 8 p.m. daily but especially Monday through Friday.
- Wandering Wayfinder throughout first floor, helping lost folks & supporting patients and visitors during a stressful time Tue, Thurs, Fri any shift/ flexible schedule
- Wayfinder/ Greeter Main Entrance Monday 8-12 & 12-4, Friday 8-12
- Emergency Department Patient & Family Experience
- Pharmacy Chemo Transport
These positions are ideal for individuals who are comfortable being active, as they involve frequent walking and, in some cases, pushing wheelchairs.

Volunteers do not shadow, observe, provide clinical services (intern/externship), or participate in research positions. If you are interested in shadowing, observing, an internship, research positions please contact Education at 1-877-453-7107 or (302) 674-4700. Unfortunately, if we have not received the completed training and DocuSign forms within 3 weeks, and with no follow up, we will need to remove your application.
