Application Process

In addition to this application, we also need the following to be done before we can get you started in service. We'll send you further instructions when we receive your application.

Copy or legible photo of your current, valid Driver License
Copy or legible photo of your current auto liability insurance for your vehicle
Pass a Criminal Background Check via the Sterling Volunteers website*. Your Volunteer Coordinator will be sending you an email, with an invite link, which will allow you to complete this step. *A donation to cover the $10 cost of your background check is appreciated and will be payable through the link you receive.
Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry Check (EMR) through the Texas Department of Health and Human Services
Completion of the Meals on Wheels Volunteer Delivery Team Training, hosted by a member of Your Volunteer Services Team or an approved representative.
