Volunteering for the 31st Annual Winter Solstice Lantern Festival
The Winter Solstice is the longest, darkest night of the year when cultures around the globe celebrate the return of the Sun. Our own Winter Solstice Lantern Festival is a heartfelt community event where friends and families can join each other to experience music, art, and light in the cold of winter, and where volunteers like you can shine!
You will be joining a team dedicated to creating beauty and joy on the shortest day of the year, and we thank you in advance for bringing your own warmth, patience and personal light with you as a volunteer.
Most roles are focused on the day of the solstice on December 21st. Please note that the majority of the shifts are between 5pm and 11pm, though help is also needed setting up throughout the day as well as pre-festival as early as October. For our 31st anniversary, our festival will be on Saturday, December 21st so please do what you can to join us on time and in good health - Thank you!
If you aren't available on the 21st, but would like to create a profile to volunteer pre-festival, please still check the box "I can volunteer with WSLF!" below, as you will be able to specify your availability on our following form.
