Volunteer Agreement

West Horsley Place Trust

Volunteer Agreement

We truly appreciate and value the volunteers who make up a big part of our overall team at West Horsley Place Trust (‘the trust). So much of what we do would not be possible without you. This Agreement aims to formalise our commitments to each other, and to ensure that all volunteers have a safe and enjoyable experience in volunteering for the Trust.

Please could you help us by reading and confirming your acceptance of the following basis for your volunteering at West Horsley Place Trust.  (We process your personal data in our legitimate interests to manage our volunteer scheme and to meet our legal obligations for health and safety, and this is done within the parameters of all current Data Protection legislation (GDPR)).

Our Promises to you

  • To offer a warm, open, and engaging environment, with a broad range of volunteer opportunities where you can contribute and learn in a beautiful, historic setting.
  • Wherever possible, to offer flexible volunteering opportunities. This means we will look to match each volunteer with an appropriate volunteering opportunity, working with you to ensure your needs are met.
  • We will strive to listen. As a learning organisation we want to hear from you and will do our best to act on your feedback, keeping you informed of any changes.
  • The Trust will take all reasonable precautions to provide a safe environment. This includes undertaking Risk Assessments for all activities, providing necessary PPE and training for all our volunteers.
