Important information about Volunteering

Volunteer Eligibility Criteria
To ensure the highest standard of care and support across our services, all volunteers at St Andrew’s Hospital Foundation must meet the following requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age
(Volunteers under 18 may be considered with written permission from a parent or guardian.) -
Be available to commit to a minimum of one 4-hour shift per week

Be willing to volunteer for at least 12 months

Have no criminal history involving violence, drug-related offences, sexual offences, or crimes against children
(A National Police Check and Working with Children Check is a requirement for ALL St Andrew's Hospital Foundation volunteers) -
Bring relevant skills and experience from previous work or volunteer roles, and be able to provide referees who can speak to your suitability

Be fully vaccinated

COVID-19 (3 doses)
-
Annual Influenza vaccination
(Evidence of vaccination will be requested.)

Complete all required induction, orientation, and training as directed by your supervisor
