VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT- AGES 18 AND ABOVE

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (STH).

Due to the high number of applications we receive, you must attend a recruitment event before you are able to apply. Recruitment events will be held quarterly and there you will be able to find out more about volunteering at STH including what the expectations and requirements are of volunteers, the roles available and the benefits of volunteering.

The next event will take place on 19th June, 10-12 pm.  To register, please follow this link to book your place-https://forms.gle/m8h8ZB7FDHccMe8N7

NOTE, if the event fills up quickly, we may close recruitment early.

Please note;

  • We do not offer work placements, if you require a work placement e.g. for your college course, this will have to be arranged with the specific department of interest. We cannot enter into a work placement agreement or sign off your competencies etc. for a work placement.
  • If you are under 18 you will need to apply for our Team Impact programme in the autumn, please check back with us nearer the time.

We require a commitment of 3 hours a week for at least 6 months from a volunteer. Please do not apply if you cannot meet this commitment. You may instead wish to explore other volunteer opportunities in Sheffield via https://www.sheffieldvolunteercentre.org.uk/
