Covenant House Alaska Volunteer Requirements

As a licensed child care facility and to assure the safety of our youth, all volunteer applicants will undergo a background check, and we are unable to accept court ordered community work service volunteers.

Some volunteer roles have minimum age requirements:

Kitchen Volunteers: 18 years old
Direct-Care Volunteers: 21 years old
Mentors: 28 years old
Volunteers under 18: Accompanied by an adult

This volunteer form will take you 5 minutes or less to complete!

Additional onboarding steps may be required depending on the volunteer role(s) pursued.
