Volunteer Application Policy
Applicants should be at least 16 years old. Applicants aged 14 or 15, can volunteer with a responsible adult. The accompanying adult should complete the application and indicate their hopes to volunteer with a young companion. The child should also fill out the application.
By completing this application, you agree to the following statements:
I certify that the answers provided on my volunteer application are true and complete to the best of my knowledge.
I authorize investigation of all statements contained in this application.
I understand that St. Joseph Food Program will conduct a background check on me and that I do consent to this.
I agree to treat all information I may hear, see, read or otherwise acquire as highly confidential and I will not reveal or discuss this information outside of my official duties at St. Joseph Food Program.
I understand that St. Joseph Food Program is not obligated to accept me into their volunteer program and that if accepted they or I may terminate the volunteer agreement at any time.
If accepted, I agree to the following:
- False or misleading information given in my application(s) or interview(s) may result in discharge at any time.
- I will learn and follow policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization.
- I will be added to a volunteer email list, but may unsubscribe at any time.
