KQED's Volunteer Agreement
Thank you for your interest in joining KQED's volunteer program. As a KQED volunteer, you have the ability to support your local public media station in a very tangible way. Our volunteer offerings encompass a wide variety of opportunities which is a direct reflection of the variety of programing KQED shares with the Bay Area.
By completing a volunteer application, you agree to:
- Perform the duties outlined for the volunteer opportunity
- Receive and respond to email communications from the Volunteer Program
- Abide by the general rules of access and conduct for all KQED personnel
- Wear a visible temporary or access identification badge while serving as a volunteer
- Accurately record your hours of volunteer service
- Grant KQED the right to use your photograph
- Respect the confidentiality of sensitive or privileged information
- Notify the Volunteer Manager immediately if you need to redefine or end your volunteer commitments
- Accept the Volunteer Manager's right to counsel you (and members of your group) or possibly dismiss you (or your group) from the Volunteer Program if you fail to comply with the guidelines
KQED agrees to:
- Share ongoing volunteer opportunities as they become available
- Provide you with appropriate orientation, support, space materials and equipment to accomplish the assigned project(s)
By using Volunteer Impact to register for volunteer assignments at KQED, your information may be stored in KQED's database of record in accordance with the KQED privacy policy.
