PACIFIC AIRSHOW GOLD COAST (PAGC)

TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR VOLUNTEERS

By registering with Pacific Airshow Pty Ltd ABN 88 647 800 539 (PA) as a volunteer for the Pacific Airshow Gold Coast (PAGC) Event, you must agree to the following Terms & Conditions.  The submission of your application verifies your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Note: Failure to comply with any of these Terms & Conditions may result in the termination of your registration and/or further disciplinary action by PA as appropriate.

I, as per the details contained in this application form, hereby offer my services assisting PA with the PAGC Event as a volunteer crew member.

I volunteer my services and confirm that I am available for the three days of the event and agree that if accepted for a volunteer role I:

  • will work for PA in a volunteer capacity without payment or incentive;
  • will be responsible for my own personal health and safety during the PAGC Event;
  • will abide by the PAGC Workplace Health & Safety, Social Media and Bullying/Harassment Policies which are incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference;
  • understand that PA may accept or reject any volunteer application/s at their absolute discretion;
  • agree to participate in and fully complete, to the satisfaction of PA, all training programs requested and/or conducted by PA and associated with my involvement with the PAGC Event;
  • hereby consent to the collection of my personal information by PA in connection with my involvement at the PAGC Event and acknowledge and agree that information, including personal details held by PA may be distributed to agencies and other senior crew members associated with the organisation of the PAGC Event or otherwise in accordance with the PA Privacy Policy available at: https://pacificairshowaus.com/privacy-policy;
  • declare that I am medically and physically fit and free from impairment and able to carry out normal duties expected of the volunteer position for which I hereby apply for at the PAGC Event;
  • understand that the minimum age to volunteer is 18 years of age and confirm I satisfy the minimum age requirement; 
  • will collect and wear accreditation and uniform in accordance with the information and directions provided by PA;
  • will attend all volunteer shifts as allocated by PA, for the hours as advised;
  • If I become unavailable due to illness, injury or extreme circumstances, will advise PAGC as soon as possible, I note this must be done via email to PA and an email response will be provided, if I fail to receive an email response I will assume that no advice has been received by PA;
  • understand that failure to show for volunteer shifts may result in an not being accepted for future events;
  • undertake tasks and duties as outlined, and follow the directions of PAGC Event staff/senior crew members;
  • will not bring valuable items to the events and take personal responsibility for any personal property brought to the PAGC Event;
  • will treat fellow volunteers, staff and patrons with respect;
  • agree that failure to abide by these Terms & Conditions may result in exclusion from an event, whether that be prior to the first day of the PAGC Event or on a particular day (and for the remainder) of the PAGC Event, and may include future events;
  • understand that past acceptance does not guarantee a position at future events;
  • understand PA have the right to exclude any volunteer from their PAGC Event at their absolute discretion;
  • understand that imagery of volunteers at the event may be recorded and reproduced by PA in various commercial formats including but not limited to the PAGC Volunteer Facebook page and you acknowledge and agree that PA has exclusive ownership and control of all such recorded imagery and you relinquish any rights or entitlements to ownership or compensation for the commercial use and reproduction of such imagery whatsoever by the PA. 
  • understand that all volunteers must abide by the PAGC Event Terms & Conditions as displayed at the entrance to the PAGC Event; and
  • agree to abide by any direction provided by PA with respect to the management of Covid-19 at the PAGC Event.
