NS GUARD CONSENT STATEMENT
Consent to use and share your personal information for the administration of the Nova Scotia Guard.
The Nova Scotia Guard will use and share your personal information for specific purposes:
Nova Scotia Guard Volunteer Organization Partners
To connect you with Nova Scotia Guard Volunteer Organization Partners (not-for-profit organizations that provide preparedness and response services within the Province in the event of an emergency or other times of need) and community organizations that provide support before and after an emergency.
The Nova Scotia Guard Administrator may provide approved Volunteer Organization Partners with the information they need to mobilize volunteers from the Nova Scotia Guard. For this purpose, your preferred name, last name, pronouns, email address, phone number, information about your needs, skills, and qualifications will be shared with approved Volunteer Organization Partners assisting in the emergency.
Consent
I have read the consent to use and disclose my personal information, and I understand that the Nova Scotia Guard Administrator will share my information:
1. I am under 18 years old:
o I consent to sharing my personal information with my identified parent or legal guardian for the purpose of gaining permission to volunteer with the Nova Scotia Guard
2. I am over 18 years old:
o I consent to sharing my personal information to approved Nova Scotia Guard Volunteer Organization Partners (not-for-profit organizations that provide preparedness and response services within the Province in the event of an emergency or other times of need) and community organizations that provide support before and after an emergency.
