Commitment Statement

Volunteers are at the heart of everything VOKRA does. Without them, we could not rescue and find loving homes for the more than 1,400 kittens and cats VOKRA takes in each year.

There are many ways to help. We ask that our volunteers make a six-month and volunteer team leads make a twelve-month time commitment, and agree to our liability waiver, code of conduct, privacy policy, and conflict resolution policy agreements. 

There is a tendency to overcommit when you are passionate for a cause. Volunteer work should not rule your life. Remember that you have your personal, career and family life to keep in balance.

VOKRA reserves the right to terminate volunteer appointments at its discretion.
