Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering at Nashville Humane. In order to join our team, you will need to complete an application through Better Impact. Nashville Humane uses Better Impact and MyImpact portal to manage our volunteer opportunities and services. As a volunteer, you'll be using this system to track your training, shifts at the shelter, and subsequent hours. All opportunities will be available for sign-up via your MyImpact portal.
To get started, you'll create an account below that will take you to our Nashville Humane Volunteer Application. We anticipate the application to take you no longer than 10–15 minutes. Depending on the influx of applications, we review them on a bi-weekly basis. If you have not heard anything within two weeks of submitting your application, please reach out to volunteer@nashvillehumane.org. If you are applying to volunteer to complete community service hours (including court-mandated hours), school service hours, or any other type of services hours please fill out the Community Service/School/Organizational Volunteering Application instead.
Volunteers ages of 12-15 may only volunteer alongside a parent. If your parent is willing to join you in volunteering, they should complete their own volunteer application in addition to yours and note your name when they do so. We need applications on file for all participants.
**Note: Emails from Better Impact have been known to end up in Spam/Junk folders. Please keep an eye out on those folders if you haven't heard anything.
