Volunteer Agreement
You agree to:
- attend a scheduled orientation and any training sessions, where applicable.
- notify the appropriate person if unable to volunteer.
- hold as confidential any private information obtained directly; or indirectly concerning our members and organization.
We agree to:
- provide you with a choice of assignments, where possible
- provide orientations, training, supervision and guidance to you
The following policies will be provided in the application. You will be required to agree to them in order to volunteer with SDHRS.

Volunteer orientation invitations will be sent via email after submission of a complete volunteer application. If selected for any of our opportunities, further training is required specific to your assignment. All training must be completed within two months of orientation to remain active. Volunteers must purchase a uniform shirt when volunteering in the shelter or at our public events (Long sleeve: $13, Short Sleeve $10, and Tank $8 (tax will be added to all costs))
