Hosparus Health Volunteer Health Requirements
Welcome to Hosparus Health Volunteer Services!
Please create your login and complete the application. New volunteers are required to complete three (3) brief online learning modules and attend one (1) in-person session. In addition to training, volunteers must complete a background check and meet the occupational health requirements listed below:
All Hosparus Health staff and volunteers are required to have the flu immunizations annually (November 1-March 31).
Volunteers who come into direct contact with patients are required to complete an online TB Risk Assessment (annually), and a TB blood test through Lab Corp (one-time).
Hosparus Health will provide this testing and flu shot immunization at no charge to you. If you have any questions about our policies or onboarding procedures, please contact our Volunteer Services Coordinator at 502-719-4155. Thank you.
Important Note: Volunteer needs fluctuate throughout the year. We are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas:
- Patient support in homes and nursing homes
- Dare to Care Food Delivery
- 11th Hour Night Vigil
- Administrative Volunteers who are comfortable making phone calls to patients, caregivers, and bereaved families.
Volunteer openings at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center (HICC), Grief Counseling Center, and for Administrative tasks are currently limited and we cannot guarantee placement in these areas.
