Required for participation in Rutgers Master Gardener Program of Ocean County

I wish to become an intern in the Rutgers Cooperative Extension Master Gardener (RMG) volunteer training program and would like to be considered for the next class.

I understand there is a cost to cover the classes and administrative expenses.

I understand that the RMG volunteer training classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, either in-person or live via Zoom, starting January 12, 2027, and continuing through April 15, 2027. This program can not be completed online or through self-paced learning.

I understand that upon passing the final exam with a score of 85% or higher, I must volunteer a minimum of 60 hours of service to Ocean County residents through approved Rutgers Master Gardener Program activities and events in Ocean County.

I understand that a program fee must be paid to be eligible for the RMG Training Program and that the training fee will be returned if I am not accepted into the 2027 Training Class.
