Volunteer Requirements
Welcome to the NHSPCA Volunteer Community!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the New Hampshire SPCA!
We are thrilled that you're considering joining our volunteer community. Every year, hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours to help care for animals, support our staff, and make the shelter a welcoming place for both people and pets. Simply put, we could not do this work without volunteers like you.
Before You Apply
Please be sure you can meet the following Volunteer Requirements:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Commit to volunteering for a minimum of six months
- Volunteer at least 4 hours each month
- Have reliable transportation to our Stratham, NH location
All new volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Orientation. Orientations are typically offered three times each month, last approximately 100 minutes, and require advance registration.
