Organization Policies

Dates for our comprehensive 16-hour Fall 2026 hospice volunteer training are:
  • Saturday, October 3, 2026 - 10AM-2PM
  • Sunday, October 4, 2026 - 10AM-2PM
  • Saturday, October 17, 2026 - 10AM-2PM
  • Sunday, October 18, 2026 - 10AM-2PM

    Submitting an application allows us to learn more about your interests, experience, and availability. Please note that completing an application does not guarantee placement, as all volunteer applicants go through our standard screening and onboarding process. If you are selected to move forward, volunteer requirements will include: 
  1. Complete volunteer training appropriate for their role.  (Varies per role.)
  2. Pass our background checks with the State of New Hampshire Department of Safety and Bureau of Adult and Aging Services.
  3. Obtain a TB test (provided at no cost to you by Granite VNA).
  4. Attend required annual trainings and meetings based on their volunteer role. (Typically 2-4 hours annually.)
