By applying to volunteer with the Fort Saskatchewan Nourishment Centre, applicants should be aware that the volunteer recruitment and acceptance process includes several required steps:

Shortlisted applicants must participate in a short structured interview via phone.

Two reference checks will be conducted.

A Criminal Record Check (cost covered by FSNC) is required before placement.

Completion of the Alberta Food Banks Food Safe Handling course (free) is required before placement.
