At this time, we are not accepting new applications for the PAWS Pal program. Our next recruitment round will begin in the fall. Please check back in January.
To help you prepare, here’s an overview of the recruitment and onboarding process, which can take up to 8 weeks:
- Online application
- In-person interview
- Two reference checks
- Police Information Check (PIC)
- Online training modules
(Better Impact Guide, PAWS Pal Volunteer Handbook, Access to Google Drive folders) - In-person orientation & training (3 hours)
- First shift orientation with the Behaviour Coordinator
(1 hour, max. 3 volunteers per session) - Ready to sign up for shifts!
